Perfect for our youngest animal lovers, this gentle pony ride is a fun introduction to life on the farm. After their ride, little farmers can help brush and pamper their friendly pony, creating a special memory they'll treasure.
Let your little farmer saddle up for a gentle horse ride through the farm. After the adventure, they'll spend time brushing and pampering their horse while learning more about these beautiful animals.
Feel the excitement of riding in a safe, controlled farm environment. Designed for riders aged 8 and over, this guided motorbike adventure delivers plenty of thrills on our dedicated farm track.
Sit back and enjoy a guided UTV tour through rolling hills, cattle paddocks and breathtaking farm scenery. It's the perfect way to experience the beauty of Alkoomi while exploring places only the farm vehicles can reach.
oin us for a relaxed journey across rolling hills and picturesque cattle country as we make our way to the Sunset Shack. Watch the sun set behind sweeping mountain ranges with glimpses of the ocean, creating one of Central Queensland's most breathtaking views. Along the way, enjoy a delicious grazing platter featuring homemade Alkoomi produce.

Experience the daily rhythm of life on a working cattle farm as you help feed the animals, collect fresh eggs and meet some of Alkoomi's friendly farm residents. It's a hands-on experience the whole family will love.
Daily Animal Feeding Times
- 4:00pm | May to September
- 4:30pm | October to April
- Alkoomi is closed during December.
Please note: For the safety of our animals and guests, please do not feed or interact with the animals outside of these times unless supervised by a staff member.

Cook up a memorable meal using our wood-fired barbecue and camp oven facilities. Complimentary firewood is provided, and Alkoomi Beef BBQ packs are available for purchase, making it easy to enjoy an authentic farm-style feast.
Explore Alkoomi at your own pace with scenic bushwalks and mountain bike trails through rolling hills, open paddocks and beautiful Australian countryside. Bring your walking shoes or mountain bike and discover the farm from a different perspective.
Please note: Motorbikes are not permitted on the walking and riding trails.
Cool off with a refreshing swim or bring your own kayak or paddleboard to explore the dam. Whether you're on the water or simply relaxing on the deck and soaking up the views, it's the perfect place to unwind.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please note the following conditions apply to all activities:
- Participation in activities is subject to suitability and is entirely at the discretion of Alkoomi Adventure Farm Stay.
- All activities are fully supervised by our staff.
- Long pants and enclosed shoes must be worn for all activities.
- Adults participating in horse riding must be able to mount the horse unassisted.
- A maximum rider weight limit of 100 kg applies to horse riding activities.
- Children participating in horse rides will remain on a lead at all times.
- A maximum speed limit of 30 km/h applies to all motorised activities.
