Collect Moments, Not Things

Wow what a place, we have been on our lap for 18months staying mostly at farmstays with our kids. Without a dought this is in our top 3 in Australia. Dave & Becc you guys rock, hard working genuine bush people. Everthing is so neat & tidy, a lot of thought has gone into this setup, so much to do activities galore free animal feeding and buggy rides daily at 4pm, sunset shack is amazing, fishing, swimming, push bike tracks, bushwalks to mush to list, or you can do nothing so quiet & peaceful. They really have thought of everybody, don't miss this one guy's. Oh the paddock to plate beef is next level Dave does it all himself on the farm.

We stayed at Alkoomi early on in our 3 month trip and our kids 13, 11 and 2 had the time of their lives. They will never forget the great experiences they had at Alkoomi and after all our travels up the Queensland Coast and across to Karumba they still have their stay at Alkoomi as one of their top experiences of our trip. Thank you Dave and Becc for an amazing stay, you are great people and we are all stocked we got to meet you. What you offer there is fantastic and would recommend to anyone. Couldn't rate this place higher. We loved it.

Hands down the best farmstay in Australia!   So much to do, you'll want to stay longer.  What a gorgeous property, the owners have put so much thought and love into creating this magical place. We will be back!

Excellent Location & Good Old Fashioned Welcome to The Farm. Great Family owned Business. Beautiful Scenery to Unwind and Destress and ofcourse Leave the Mobile in the Car.... Fresh Air to do absolutely nothing or totally enjoy yourself with an Adventure on the Farm for the Day. Make yourself a Cuppa.... ☕️ Bush Walking - Fresh Air - Mountain Views - Camp Kitchen and BBQ Outdoor Set Up - Accommodation / Camping Sites - Clean Amenities - Swimming - Canoe / Kayak - Swings - Trees to Climb - Feeding Animals - Collect the Eggs from the Hen House - Cattle roaming in the paddocks - Horse Riding or just pat the dogs & horses ... You decide... I did and I absolutely Loved it... Planning my Return for a Weekend stay next time. Thanks.

Thank you for a wonderful couple of nights, your facilities were great, love the rustic charm of the camp kitchen and the landscape wow such a beautiful setting, very affordable, ability to purchase fresh eggs and meat was a bonus too! nothing was too much trouble and you made two little boys (and mum and dad) very happy, collecting eggs, horse back and quad bike rides. Would highly recommend! Well worth a visit, we headed out for a day trip yesterday but everyone just wanted to get back to the farm!
